Description
Gearbox Assembly, P/S, New, OE-Style, standard ratio (3 turns lock to lock), large input shaft (13/16 Inch) and flare style fittings for pressure / return hoses, cast iron gray finish, Lares US Made
Avoid the core charges and availability issues with this brand new steering gearbox from Lares! Built with their same strict OE tolerances for internal parts and seals, then painted in a cast iron gray finish.
Note:
Limited lifetime warranty, does not include steering joint coupler (see part number C-6525-1A).
Installation / Warranty Notes:
You must flush the Power Steering system completely any time components are replaced to eliminate any contamination and to validate manufacturer’s warranties. Many fluids available on the market do not meet manufacturer’s minimum standards for friction, viscosity, corrosion or wear. Research has found the cause of many power steering related failures can be traced back to low quality fluid. Dont risk your restoration on a budget brand fluid.
