This 1979-1993 5.0Lunderdrive pulley system is designed to increase engine horsepower by reducing the amount of power required to drive external engine accessories. By replacing factory-sized crank and accessory drive pulleys with re-sized pulleys, the accessories are slowed, resulting in more horsepower available to the drive wheels. Typically, a set of these pulleys will increase horsepower by 11-15, and increase mileage by 2 to 3 MPG. These pulleys are manufactured from billet aluminum, exceeding factory quality.
Note:
This anodized black billet aluminum 6 groove serpentine pulley set includes alternator, crank and water pump pulleys. These pulleys are CNC-machined from the lightest, most durable materials possible: 6061-T6 billet aluminum. See M-8509-30EB for complete kit with mounting brackets
Installation Note:
This kit is designed to work with stock style crankshaft dampeners. Some hardware is included but may required you to reuse some of your factory hardware.
