Ford listings show three different steering column tube bearings for 1994-2004 Mustangs. This bearing is the large upper version that is located between the two sections of the steering column. It features a 50.75 mm O.D. x 39.80 mm I.D. x 7.6 mm. This is an original Ford part to ensure proper fitment.
Installation Note:
Ford listings call this bearing out as a upper larger version but looking at the original Ford illustrations this is more of a middle bearing then a upper. Ford calls out anything that is on the interior of the steering column a upper bearing.
Note:
See M-3517-100 for correct small upper bearing located at the very top of the steering column or M-3517-102 for small lower bearing that is located at the very bottom of the steering column.
