Note: Thicker than original radiators may require a shorter fan spacer, a different fan or an electric fan.Check for a minimum of 1/2 clearance (1 preferred) between the fan and radiator core BEFORE you start your engine!Thicker than original radiators may also need modifications to the saddle mounts to fit the thicker tanks and for the location of the drain cocks.
Aluminum radiators and heater cores require 50/50 mix coolant replacement at least every 24 months or 30,000 miles to maintain the necessary silicate levels that prevent corrosion in aluminum.
