It cancels offensive noise frequencies (cabin resonance) yet delivers the pure sound of power under acceleration and delivers a pleasing LS1 exhaust note at idle. By eliminating the baffles, chambers and packing material found in conventional mufflers, CORSA systems provide 45% more flow than the factory system. CORSA Pro-Series 3-1/2″ Tip systems are also available in the Touring version Part 38782. The Touring system is music to the ears of a true performance enthusiast while the Indy system has a somewhat bolder and more aggressive sound. Both systems run without resonance at cruising speed.
