We designed our oil level indicator to match the factory oil level marks for simplicity and easy recognition of high and low fill marks. By machining our indicator as a “window” we found we were able to check the oil level with more precision as compared to other designsas the oil level would typically be wiped away when pulled upwards and out from the dipstick tube.Joining the oil level indicator to the dipstick handle is accomplished by a precisely measuredstainless steel wire rope that is crimped on either side to solidly lock the components in to place. To take this a step furtherall dipsticks are pull-tested to ensure a rigidcrimped connection. Stainless steel shank balls are pre-crimped to the wire rope and help guide the dipstick within the dipstick tube and more closely mirror the OEM design function.
