Description
46″ long.Repro.3/16″ thick x 5/8″ wide.Original was 1/8″ thick.Fastens to the roof just forward of the rear window lip.Headliner is fastened with staples.Used on many 67 Fastbacks.Called for in the 67 Interior Assembly manual but not always used.We have evidence of a June 67 Dearborn build with the tack strip and a February 67 scheduled Metuchen build with the headliner wrapped over the window lip, so there doesn’t seem to be any schedule for its use or not.
See 52196-1AK for mounting kit.
