Description
This Resideo Remote Module is a wireless device designed to facilitate communication between heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and compatible thermostats. The module utilizes RedLINK technology, a proprietary wireless protocol developed by Resideo, to enable remote control of HVAC systems. It supports up to three heat and two cool stages for conventional systems, as well as two heat and two cool stages for heat pumps. The module also features an Equipment Interface Module (EIM) that replaces conventional thermostats to provide control of all heating and cooling equipment from any location. It has LED indicators for power, thermostat connection, and equipment status. The module is powered by 24 Volts Alternating Current (VAC) supplied by the HVAC system’s transformer.
