Revitalize your classic C-10 with this Unisteer Bolt-On Rack & Pinion Conversion Kitdesigned to deliver modern steering feel and improved handling with no bump steer. The precision-engineered rack and pinion assembly installs directly into the same frame holes as the original steering box and idler arm, making installation simple and completely reversible. Built for rear-wheel-drive models only (not for 4x4s), this kit replaces outdated steering components with a robust, rear-steer rack & pinion system for smoother, more responsive control. Backed by an unlimited mile, 2-year warranty.
The rack and pinion unit mounts to a one-piece bracket that attaches to the outside of either frame rail using existing holes. Designed to work with most V6 applications and fit 8-cylinder setups with adequate clearance. Some header modifications may be required. A two-groove pulley on the water pump is required.
